NO-DIG MARKET GARDENING

Welcome to the fourth and final part in our mini series about profitable regenerative farming that we’re hosting as we warm up for our Regenerative Agriculture Masterclass.

Today you’ll learn a little bit about how we run our no-dig market gardens in the style that’s been emulated by successful farmers all over the world now.

Market gardening is a great enterprise because it can be started at very low cost compared to many other farm enterprises, on a very small land base, and you don’t need a particularly large amount of previous knowledge and skills to get started. A lot of our previous students have gone off and made incredible gardens, some of which we’ve featured in our book, in our Farm Like a Hero series and on our Youtube channel in the past.

Market gardening really is an easy entry point to farming for a lot of people and that’s why we’ve seen it spread in popularity all over the world. And I think no-dig is the very best way to respect the soil life that ultimately is what leads to healthy plants and healthy food for human beings.

To help you kickstart your market garden enterprise, today we’re gifting you the Crop Profiles guide from our Regenerative Agriculture Masterclass which spills the beans on how we grow our veg here at Ridgedale. You’ll find a link to it here on this page.

Remember that you’re invited to our free live online event “Stories from the Pioneers”. Come join Richard and a number of other farmers (who are also our Masterclass mentors this summer) for an evening of conversation and Q&A’s. To register, just fill in the form on this page – seats are limited.

Up next: Well, that’s it for this mini series! But if you’re hungry for more, go read about our Regenerative Agriculture Masterclass below.

THE REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE MASTERCLASS

The intention of the Regenerative Agriculture Masterclass is to give you everything you need to be able to start successfully, from a detailed land plan to a bill of quantities detailing everything you want to in the development of your farm, a phase plan of how you’re going about that, your sales and marketing strategy, financial plans for each enterprise you plan to take on and then a whole-farm economic plan which is an overwhelming task, and that’s why we’re here to help.

As far as online trainings in this field go, the Regenerative Agriculture Masterclass is by far the most comprehensive, in-depth and detailed sharing you’ll find anywhere.

If you found this mini series inspiring and would like to start your own profitable regenerative farming business, you should consider joining us.

Registration is now open, but only for a few days (and only once a year), so be sure to check it out now. To find out more, just click on the link below; I hope to see you in the training.

All the best,

Richard
